Dra. Virginia Gómez: licensed in Medicine from the University of Cádiz (2000 to 2006) and subsequently completed her specialization in General and Digestive System Surgery at the Hospital Universitario Virgen del Rocío (2007 to 2012).
During her residency training, and to complement it, she had a three-month stay in London at St. Mark’s Hospital to specialize in laparoscopic techniques and advanced proctology.
Continuing education is one of the commitments of our medical team. To achieve the Cum Laude Doctor degree from the University of Seville, Dr. Virginia Gómez defended her doctoral thesis in 2018.
Given the need for constant updating, she has completed multiple courses in general surgery as part of her commitment to clinical practice. She also served as a lecturer from 2016 to 2019 as a professor at the Fernando Pessoa Canarias University, being accredited for her excellence by the ACCUEE in 2019.
